that enable the apprentice to function as an effective member of your team achieved through:

  • Key Skills in Communication, IT, Number,
    Working With Others and Improving Own Learning
Industry Awareness …

to give apprentices a working understanding of the metals industry, key processes, business operations and markets achieved through:

  • a Metals Industry Awareness Certificate*
    *
    where applicable to the apprentice’s position for apprentices within the Metals Academy.

Costs and funding

All the core costs of the Metskill Academy Apprenticeship Service and apprentice training are fully funded. Companies can also take advantage of other more specialised training to meet specific company needs, for which details and costs are available on request.
